The darker side of medium is exactly right here, still smooth enough to drink black but with a nice cocoa edge. I've been pulling it as espresso and it holds up with a thick, syrupy body. Genuinely one of the better bags I've bought this year.

I've been brewing this in a French press every morning and the East African beans give it this subtle fruity note that I wasn't expecting from a darker roast. It's smooth enough to drink black, which is rare for me.
